Privacy Policy

Our Core Privacy Promise
At PDFSwift, we believe your documents belong to you. We design our utility software so that **all PDF compiling, splitting, compressing, and formatting runs 100% locally in your web browser**. We do not upload your files, we do not store them, and we have no access to their contents.
1. File Processing & Security
Traditional online converters require you to upload your files to their remote cloud servers. PDFSwift works differently. We use client-side libraries (like pdf-lib and PDF.js) compiled to run directly in your browser's sandboxed environment. Your files are loaded into temporary memory, processed on your CPU/GPU, and downloaded immediately.
At no point are your files transmitted over the internet to our hosting servers, databases, or third-party storage centers.
2. Information We Collect
Because all processing happens on your local device, we do not collect:
- Your document names, contents, metadata, or text.
- Your personal email, files history, or processing logs.
We may use basic server logs or anonymous analytics cookies to track visitor metrics (such as page views, country of origin, browser type) to optimize server speed, search engines ranking, and general website performance.
3. Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies
We use Google AdSense to serve display advertisements to support our operational expenses. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on user visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit history.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.
4. Document Ownership
You retain absolute ownership of all files. We claim no copyrights, licenses, or control over any files processed using our free tools.
5. Contact Information
